CSESTA Events

PAPYRUS

  • Time duration: 10 minutes
  • Presentation: 8 min
  • Question and Answer session: 2 min
  • Maximum two participants per team
  • All the participants should bring their PPT content in pen drive, and are solely responsible for their belongings
  • Hard copy and soft copy of the paper and PPT to be submitted during the event

Authors are requested to choose their topics of interest (but not limiting to) within the thematic areas as given below:

Format of the Paper may be either in IEEE format or 1.5 line spacing, times new roman, font size 12 on A-4 size paper (4 to 6 pages).  Paper Submission must be made to csesta@drmgrdu.ac.in

 Last date for submission on 14th March 2020 

The selected candidate will be informed on 16th March 2020

WEB DRIVER

  • Maximum two participants per team
  • Participants should use HTML 5 and CSS
  • Students are not permitted to access internet during the event. If they  do so they will be disqualified
  • All necessary images, icons will be provided for each candidate.
  • The decision of the judges will be final

CODE JAM

  • An algorithm will be given on the spot and participants have to code the algorithm using C ,C++ or JAVA
  •  Maximum two participants per team
  • The decision of the judges will be final
  • Judgement criteria based on time and output
  • Participants shall not be allowed to use mobile phone or any other electronic gadgets.
  • The decision of the judges will be final

CATCH THE FLAG

  • No individual participation is allowed. Only teams are allowed to participate in this event. Team can have a maximum of 2 members
  • Prelims and Finals will be conducted.
  • Top Participants from the prelims will be eligible for the finals.
  • Quiz questions will be completely technology oriented
  • The decision of the judges will be final
  • Participants shall not be allowed to use mobile phone or any other electronic gadgets.

CRYPT YOUR MIND

  • All the questions must be answered within the time limit.
  • The text will be in encrypted format. Based on the key/hint the CIPHER TEXT must be decrypted so as to get the plain text.
  • Prelims and Finals will be conducted.
  • Maximum two participants per team
  • Participants shall not be allowed to use mobile phone or any other electronic gadgets.
  •  The decision of the judges will be final

TECH CHALLENGE

  • Maximum participants per team: 2
  • Prelims and Finals will be conducted.
  • First round will be an elimination round based on which qualified teams will go for the final round.
  • Questions will be based on C, C++ and Java
  • Points awarded on the basis of errors detected and corrected within a particular time period
  • Participants shall not be allowed to use mobile phone or any other electronic gadgets.
  • The decision of the judges will be final

PUBG

  • Individual /Group event
  • Game duration: 30 mins.
  • Hacking, usage of GFX tools and spectating are not allowed
  • Abusive Words are not allowed in Chat while Playing.

CONNEXIONS

  • Two participants are per team
  • For prelims each team will be shown a set of 5 slides in a duration of one minute
  • Selection for finals will be based on time duration
  • The decision of the judges will be final
